When it comes to a successful post-secondary education, mindset is everything. African-Americans in Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) face unique challenges and struggles throughout their post-secondary education including discrimination from other post-secondary institutions, employers and other outside influences. Strength of pride in not only ancestry but also your educational institution can come from proper education about racial roots, which many of our scholars and speakers can provide. Alternatively students also need to have a good sense of time management, developing personal skills and goal setting to achieve their full academic potential. Our wide variety of youth advocates and lecturers can provide all of this for your students.
