Rubin "Hurricane" Carter is one of the world's most powerful speakers. Hollywood studios and legendary songwriters have been moved and inspired by his story.

In 1966, Carter was a top-ranked prizefighter, one match away form the World Title, when he was arrested for murders he did not commit. Convicted and sentenced to life in prison, it took 20 years and another two agonizing trials to free him.

Today, as a motivational speaker, Rubin takes his audiences on a journey of personal determination, enlightening them on the power of self-esteem and worth, and the importance of never giving up hope.
