When asked what type of business she's in, Rita's answer is, The People
Business.
As CEO and Founder of QVF Partners (Quality, Value, Fun), Rita works with
organizations and individuals who are serious about creating People focused
relationships and cultures. She shares her expertise, service and resources
to help transform work environments. She passionately believes that every
workplace can be a positive place to work.
As an International Speaker and Consultant, she has presented to groups in
Europe, Mexico, Brazil and Australia on topics including People Success
Strategies, Leadership, Innovation, Culture, Branding, and Customer Service.
During her 25 year career at Southwest Airlines, Rita served in several
positions, including Customer Service, Sales and Marketing, Public Relations
and HR. In her last role as Director of the University for People, she was
responsible for the design, development and implementation of Leadership and
Personal Development programs for over 32,000 Employees. She also
established a Career Development Services team, responsible for helping
Employees develop a career path.
Rita has served on several advisory committees and boards and currently is a
member of National ASTD(American Society of Training and Development) Board.
She has often been interviewed and quoted in publications such as Harvard
Business Review, Business Week, Corporate Meetings and Incentives and Wall
Street Journal on topics of recruiting and training practices.
Rita lives the philosophies that if you put People 1st, profits will follow
and that work can be FUN!
