Jasmine Sanders

Her voice is one you've heard before, and if you haven't, once you do hear it, you'll never forget it.   She's the southern beauty with charm that gets you through your work day with a combination of good music and a smile that shines bright thru the airwaves. She's inspiring, alluring, and dispels the common saying of having a "face for radio".   Her name is Jasmine and she's a force to be reckoned with.

Jasmine Sanders has the rare combination of beauty, resilience, humility and determination that it takes to survive in the up and down world of entertainment. This Tennessee-bred beauty catapulted from her humble beginnings in the small town of Ooltewah to mainstream success as Midday On-air Personality in the #1 market in the country.  However, it's her journey from the small town to the big city that gave her the gifts that have taken her to such triumph and will lead her beyond.

After earning a B.S. degree in Mass Communications and Political Science from Middle Tennessee State University, she was hired as overnight host for WQQK/Nashville. It wasn't long before she made a name for herself and quickly transitioned to the Midday spot and was also named Music Director.  But after being noticed by a talent agent, Jasmine decided to try her skills in front of the camera.  Over the next 5 years, she proved she was equally as talented in front of the camera as host of a rock music video show, an entertainment reporter for CMT (Country Music Television.) and starring in several local and national TV commercials.  But somehow radio found her and beckoned her home.  She accepted an offer to become Morning Show host and Director of Marketing & Promotions for one of the largest radio clusters, Cumulus Broadcasting

Although she had completed so much in the world of radio and television, something was still missing from Jasmine's life.  As an adopted child, she always dreamed of meeting her biological family.  So on a wing and a prayer, Jasmine left behind her career in Tennessee and moved to New York City to meet her family.  What she didn't know then was that this trip would lead her to her destiny. While reconnecting with her family, she landed a job working in radio promotions for Virgin/Capital Records.  After only 3 years, destiny came knocking and at the urging of a close friend, she submitted a demo package to WBLS, New York's legendary heritage station.  Now, listeners can't get enough of her warm spirit and beautiful personality. 

Through all of her successes, Jasmine remains humble.  When asked why she thinks she's done so well, she simply replies, "I am blessed and highly favored and my southern charm helps quite a bit too." she says with a smile.
