Beginning his career in the Negro leagues, Hank Aaron was acquired by the Milwaukee Braves in 1954, where he played for an amazing 23 years before retiring. In 1974, Aaron hit homerun number 715, breaking Babe Ruth's long-standing record - Aaron's career record stands at 755. He appeared in a record 24 All-Star contests, played in the '57 World Series, and was selected as the National League MVP in '57. In 1982, Hank was enshrined to the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
