Known as "Mr. Cub", Ernie Banks thrilled fans with his 512 career home runs during his 19 years as a Chicago Cub. He had five 40 plus home run seasons, was named the National League MVP in 1958 and 1959 and won the Fielding Championship at both shortstop and first base. Ernie coached for the Cubs in 1971 and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1977. He currently is CEO of his own multinational sports marketing and promotions firm.
