Daniel Trust (born Daniel Ndamwizeye), is a Rwandan American Genocide survivor. Daniel has experienced a lot of tragedies, losses, death, and much more at such a young age that most people do not experience in a lifetime. He is the person he is today because of those many experiences. He has taken those experiences and has used them as his inspiration and motivation to help others. He has taken those experiences and has also opened an opportunity not only for himself, but for many others as well.

 

Daniel is a motivational speaker, a personal banker, an entrepreneur, Founder & CEO of Daniel Trust, LLC a T-shirt company with a mission to inspire people through art and words of inspiration. He is the Founder & Chairman of The D-Trust Foundation, Inc a non-profit organization with a mission to one day help orphans around the world as the foundation grows.

 

Daniel was inspired to be a motivational speaker on his life experiences, including his survival of the Rwandan Genocide when he gave his high school graduation speech back in 2008 where he received a standing ovation. There was an audience of more than one thousand people in which included teachers, students, and parents who were deeply touch by his speech that talked about his many life experiences that brought him to where he is today. Daniel’s mission as a motivational speaker is to inspire people to work harder regardless of what they may have been through in their lives. A person can not control what happens in their lives or what path their life is headed, but they can accept the trials and tribulation, the consequences, and decisions and make a path for themselves to succeed with the outcome of those experiences.

 

Daniel has been a great inspiration to others. His inner strength and motivation to succeed after experiencing such tragic experiences has affected the lives of many. He is an example that in the future many will follow. He has opened up the doors for many people of all ages. He overcame the worst and from here on out it may not be a breeze, but it is sure a whole lot better than what it was. He took those experiences for what they were and faced them day by day and now he stands here before many to talk about those experiences and give hope to those who feel like they are stuck. The only person who can lift you up and guide you forward regardless of what is happening in your life is yourself and that’s exactly what Daniel did.

 

Daniel is currently a junior at Southern CT State University in New Haven, CT majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
