In an effort to practice what he preaches, Antoine works tirelessly to be a positive example for young professionals. Antoine obtained a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice with a minor in Psychology from Baldwin-Wallace College in 2005. Subsequently, he earned a master’s degree in Public Administration with a focus on General Management from Cleveland State University’s (CSU) Maxine Goodman Levin College of Urban Affairs in 2007. In an effort to encourage his peers and others to not be intimidated by the standards of higher education programs, Antoine challenged himself by matriculating into CSU’s Urban Studies and Public Affairs Ph.D. program with a concentration in Public Administration. As he is expected to complete this program in 2011, he maintains research interests in leadership and the talent development of emerging leaders.
With the goal in mind of developing future leaders, Antoine decided to write a dynamic book, Learn to Intern CEO Style, that offers high school and college students advice on how to succeed in the internship arena.
Antoine has been employed by NASA Glenn Research Center (GRC) as a Transportation Management Specialist in its Cooperative Education Program since 2006. He’s also assisting in developing a leadership program for GRC. Volunteers, Inc.) in 2006. C.H.A.N.G.E. Volunteers, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop and empower its members and various community residents through consistent volunteer initiatives, professional workshops, educational conferences, and team building programs.
For the last two years, Antoine has been an invaluable member of the Cleveland Federal Executive Board Tutoring Program where he utilizes his talents to tutor and mentor elementary school students. In the past, he has been a member of NASA Glenn Research Center’s College Recruitment Team. Over the years he has effectively recruited students during career workshops, career day events, career fairs, and by participating on career discussion panels.
Antoine has participated in many professional conferences throughout the United States, and has a professional membership with the American Society for Public Administrators (ASPA). Most recently, as a result of his academic performance and commitment to public service, Antoine has been selected for induction into the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Administration and Public Affairs.
