With over 30 years of experience in empowerment and leadership, she uses her life experience and professional training to transform the lives of women and build self-esteem in girls and youth.

Ferebee; at-risk youth; diversity; and empowering collegiate men and women of color, with special interest in HBCUs and the Ivy League community. Janice has presented at events and conferences internationally for organizations including the DC Metropolitan Police Department, Johannesburg, South Africa-Child Welfare Society, Holton-Arms School, the University of Pennsylvania, the United Nations, and, Women’s Information Network.

Janice Ferebee and her work and commitment to our nation and its girls is unparalleled. Her Got It Goin On Program® curriculum and work book materials are something I think every girl in America should have access to and be a part of. Janice is great role model for what our girls should become as women of our time. I cannot wait to see what she does next with her new publications and sharing her story.
- Sophia A. Nelson, Essence Magazine, Huffington Post, Daily Beast/Newsweek
Janice deserves credit for taking on the subjects many adults are most squeamish about confronting. Drug use, teen violence, gangs, sex and sexually transmitted diseases, are just some of the touchy subjects that are discussed as easily as the golden rule, fitness, body image, grooming, and table manners. Readers will be grateful to Janice Ferebee for giving adults the courage and the tools to go out and help our girls.

Got It Goin’ On® is a source to be tapped. In these days when so many young women are in search of themselves, every tool that helps them connect their values, traditions, and historic strengths, can make a difference.
- Dr. Dorothy I. Height, Chair & President Emerti, National Council of Negro Women
Got It Goin’ On® addresses many of the tough issues in a young girl’s life and has been uniquely tailored to guide African-American young women in their personal and spiritual development. Janice Ferebee has given a wonderful gift to young women and none should be denied.
