Olympic Gold medalist, talented and dynamic speaker, and ambassador for Make A Splash! - USA Swimming Foundation
At the age of 5, Cullen Jones nearly drowned at a water park with his family. Today, he is the most decorated African-American swimmer ever.
Ever since his near drowning experience and learning to swim, Cullen has been determined to beat stereotypes and achieve his dreams of being a world-renowned swimmer.
In 2008, Cullen did just that, as he become one of the fastest swimmers on the planet and only the second African-American in history to ever win an Olympic Gold medal in swimming. His Olympic journey continued at the 2012 London Olympic Games, where he won Silver in the 50 Freestyle, and a Gold in the 4x100 Freestyle Relay and a Silver in the Men’s 4x100 Medley.
Today, Cullen is an ambassador for Make A Splash!, a USA Swimming Foundation initiative to educate children and their parents on the importance of water safety and drowning prevention. He travels the country meeting with community leaders, parents and youth to help educate with hopes that he can change the national drowning rate one kid at a time.
A talented and dynamic speaker, Jones has spoken to universities, corporations and non-profit organizations regarding his Olympic experiences and overcoming adversity to achieve goals.

"I called several companies and got promises for information on speakers. GBS was the first company who delivered without a return phone call. I was impressed by the level of professionalism and the willingness they offered to help us in selecting a speaker who could fit our corporate needs. Turnaround time for answers and documents was never more than 24 hours."
